The proceeds of the shave will aid these organisations:

• St. John of God Hospital (Geelong). The money shall go towards refurbishing a new Ongology Day Stay unit. With this new unit, cancer patients undergoing treatment may enjoy the benefits of a beautiful ocean view, better equipment, and more space which allows for family members to be able to sit by their loved ones during treatment.
• Barwon Carer Respite Centre. Funds raised shall be sent to Young Carer groups, providing the opportunity for young carers (aged 12 - 18) to be given relief from their intense caring roles. This relief can include vouchers for meals, school tutoring, chef-at-home cooking vouchers, taxi vouchers, volunteer transport services, and monthly fun-days which have previously included horse-riding, ten-pin bowling, movie nights, and dinners where all young carers can get together and relax. This relief can impact so positively on the lives of young carers, allowing them a break from the full-time responsibility of caring for an ill family member and running a household.
